Holiday dinners are right around the corner, and we wanted to help inspire you to make a dish that is delicious, easy, and best of all nut free. This cranberry relish is made with a product from our November Box: Graceland Fruit Dried Cranberries. Yup we are making cranberry sauce out of dried cranberries. We wanted to share Graceland Cranberries since they are not manufactured with peanuts or tree nuts.
Yields: 4 servings
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1 small red apple diced
1/2 cup (2 oz) dried cranberries
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup Raspberry Jam
Dash of Cinnamon
Boil water and cranberry juice in a small pot.
- Add all the ingredients to the boiling juice.
- Stir with wooden spoon for 15-20 minutes, or until all fruits break down, liquid reduces and becomes a jelly consistency.
- If sauce is over thick, add more cranberry juice as needed.
- Spoon into serving dish, let cool.
Enjoy with turkey, ham, on a piece of toast, or even on its own.
